    Patriotic songs are very famous in India, especially on 2 days: 15th of August (Independence Day) and 26th of January (Republic Day). These songs are played in school assemblies, at rallies, and during cricket matches when pride runs high.

    The black-and-white classics still raise goosebumps. The newer tracks bring fresh fire for a younger crowd. We picked the top 30 and split them by era, because the golden oldies are not going to go out of trend anytime soon.
